Matt's Birthday!!

Last Thursday was Matt's birthday, so we have been celebrating...

Special Weekend

We had a big, very exciting weekend! Saturday was Riley's baptism and what made it more special is that her great-grandfather is the one who performed the baptism. She did wonderful!! After the baptism we enjoyed a great dinner at Matt's parent's house with our family and friends.

Morning Time

On Wednesday morning Riley started stirring in bed around 6:30am like she usually does; she likes to stretch and look around in the morning before she gets up. I was watching her on the monitor (yes, it has a little video camera) so I knew she was awake, but she was happy so I continued to stay in bed myself. A couple minutes later I start hearing music...at first I was confused, but then I realized she had hit the button on her little aquarium on her crib and she was just watching it. At that point we knew she was never going to get up!

Getting Ready for Summer

I thought I should start putting a hat on Riley for fun so that she will get used to having it on and hopefully this summer she will not mind wearing one - not to mention they are VERY cute!

Giggles, Giggles, Giggles

The big news from the past week is that Riley now giggles more and more. She will not always giggle, but now when she gets going it is just too cute for words. Matt laughs at me because I laugh so much when she giggles, but I just cannot help it! I tried to get it on video a couple of times today, but when I would put the camera in front of her she got a very serious, straight face and when I would take it away she would smile again. We will try again another day. This week she has also started holding on to things more...it is so fun to see the new changes!
