For Wayne, Shelly, and Hope

Just wanted you to know Sedona is fine and very relaxed...
For those who don't know, we are watching Sedona for Wayne, Shelly, and Hope this week. I walked into the bedroom the other morning and she was sleeping on her back around the fan, I thought it was quite funny.

Peas...Not so Good

6 Month Check Up

Riley had her 6 month check up on Monday (the 21st). While waiting for the doctor she enjoyed playing with the paper on the table. She is doing great! She is now 15 lbs. 7oz. and she is 25 1/2 inches long. She did good until time for the 4 shots she had to get, it was quite sad. She calmed down quickly and was great the rest of the day. Our next check up is at 9 months, but no shots - YEAH!!!

Swimming With Dad is So Much Fun!!!

(Just so you know Riley was not really that high - the pictures makes it look so much higher.)

Bed Head

Now that Riley has been sleeping on her belly she wakes up with crazy hair in the morning and I just love it!!

6 Months Old!

Here is Riley with her dad, she is 6 months old. It is amazing how fast time goes by. She is now enjoying cereal and vegetables. She is wanting to crawl so bad, but she hasn't quite figured it out - she can wiggle around and roll. She is definitely able to get where she wants to go. She has also started with some of the separation anxiety; if you walk out of the room she gets upset...putting it mildly. It seems as though there is something new everyday and it is just so much fun!!

I Love to Play

Just a few shots of Riley playing, she sure has lots of fun!

Bed Hog

Last Sunday I had put Riley in bed with Matt and I because we were still feeling a little lazy and Riley feel back asleep and I went into the living room and left her and Matt in bed...later I went to check on them and this is what I see - Riley sleeping in the bed and Matt sitting on the floor checking his email on his phone (at first I thought he was sleeping sitting up).

My First Food

After we got home from Georgia we started Riley on vegetables...carrots were the first.

My Shirt Says It All

Saying Goodbye

We had such a good time on vacation, it was so hard to say goodbye...

Riley was very upset to leave Uncle Andy and Aunt Rhonda...

She cheered up when we told her we would come back and visit sometime!!

Meeting Bo

While in Georgia Riley got to meet her little friend Bo. They played together very well, although her screaming scared him a little. After playing for a bit we went to lunch downtown Athens!!

Riley and Bo playing...he was so nice to share his toys!

Riley riding a bulldog in Athens.

A Stormy Day

We had quite the storm one day. If you notice in the last picture there is a strip of bark missing on the tree - lightening got it.

Fourth of July

We spent the 4th of July at the lake...

Riley's 1st 4th of July!

Me and my Uncle Andy.

Matt looking very relaxed.

Riley with Nana.

Hanging out on the boat (Riley was inside with Nana)!

Everyone going out to see fireworks - we stayed in since it would be Riley's bedtime. During our trip she stayed on Arizona time so she did not go to bed until between 10:30 and 11pm.

Week of Vacation

Most of our vacation was spent at my aunt and uncle's on Lake Oconee. We had a wonderful time, it was very relaxing. We just spent our days hanging out, riding on the boat, and just enjoying time with family. Riley really enjoyed meeting everyone!! We got to spend a great week together and I got to show Matt where I grew up.

Boating is VERY tiring; both times Riley went on the boat she fell asleep within minutes.

It was a little warm out so we made Riley her own little pool in the tube; so much fun!!!

Belly Sleeper

On Wednesday morning when I woke up I went over to take a peek at Riley and she was sleeping on her belly. We always put her to sleep on her back, but that night she rolled over and slept on her belly and has been doing that every night since then. (Sorry about the dark picture, but she was sleeping and I did not want to wake her.)

It was also a little funny because her little foot was sticking out of the crib.

World of Coca-Cola

While in Atlanta we visited the World of Coca-Cola. We had a really good time!! It was less than a mile from our hotel so we just walked down there in the morning and had a great day. We got to see many old products of Coke, how their bottling system works, and got to taste many of the drinks they sell in other countries. Wow, they have some strange tasting drinks!
Here we are in front of the first soda fountain.
Riley and I with the Coke polar bear; she just wanted to grab him!

First Airplane Ride

On Tuesday, July 1st Riley had her first airplane ride...to Atlanta. Overall it went very well, she did really good on the airplane. She got a little fussy, but then fell asleep for about 2 hours.

After we got to our hotel in Atlanta we went to dinner at Hard Rock Cafe and Riley enjoyed the music.
