Look - No hands

Riley cannot quite sit on her own yet, but she is well on her way. She is able to sit for a little bit at a time before she tips to one side or the other. She is getting stronger everyday and I know it will not be too much longer and she will have this balancing thing down!

4 Month Check-Up

We took Riley to the doctor on Monday for her 4 month check-up and she is doing great. She is up to 13 lbs. 14 oz. and is 24.5 inches long!! She had to get 4 more shots; it was a bit sad, but she was a trooper. While she was on the table waiting for the doctor she thought it was so much fun to kick her legs and move her hands, which made the paper make noise - it was quite funny!! It is just amazing that she is already 4 months old. She is changing everyday. She now smiles all the time, giggles a lot, loves to play with toys and put EVERYTHING in her mouth. She is such a blessing and joy for us!!

Look at what I can do...

This was a great Mother's Day surprise! Riley first rolled over on Saturday night, but then did it several more times on Sunday. It was so much fun and so exciting!!

Mother's Day!

We had a very nice Mother's Day in the Klandrud household. We spent the morning just hanging out and then the afternoon and evening with family.

Now look at the next picture that was taken just before this nice picture...Riley got a good hold on both my hair and earring and was pulling!

Saturday morning I took some friends to the airport early so Riley and Matt had some good, quality daddy, daughter time.


They played so much Riley just fell asleep still surrounded by her toys!


When Riley woke up she decided she should watch a little TV.

We borrowed this little chair from Riley's little friend Rayna who can now sit up on her own; isn't is too cute?

It is a little hard to tell from the pictures unless you look closely...Saturday morning when we went into Riley's room to get her she was side ways in her bed. If you look at where the aquarium is you can see; I guess she thought it was more fun to kick her aquarium with her feet!

Such a talker...

This week has been very exciting in our house, Riley has really started making more and more noises. She has found little squeals and screams that she never knew she could do. It is so fun to listen to her!! She is just nonstop sometimes, that is until I get the camera out. Although, I did get a little on video for all to see.

As you can see on the video she loves to make the bird spin - she does that ALL the time!!
