Lesson Learned

Today after swim class the kids and I did a couple of errands, including getting Matt a little Christmas present. I told Riley that we could not tell dad because it was a surprise for Christmas...

When Matt came home tonight Riley proceeds to tell him that I told her not to tell but we got him a prize at the store. Luckily she did not tell what store we went to or what the "prize" was, but I am thinking she is not the best shopper if it needs to be a surprise.

Riley's Surprise for Us

Tonight while taking a bath Riley started saying letters and I realized, WOW, she is spelling her name. The first time was I-L-E-Y-R...I told her the R is first and now she keeps saying R-I-L-E-Y!! I am not even quite sure how she picked that up, but we are very proud of her. (Sorry for the dark video.)

Thanksgiving

Here is Riley in the hat she made at school...it is so fun to see all the cute things she makes at school. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family! We did a little shopping yesterday and worked on getting our Christmas decorations up. I just love this time of year!!

Picnic in the Park

Riley, Keegan and I went for a picnic in the park last week and it was so much fun. We enjoyed a little lunch and then went for Riley's favorite, the swings!! I think they are now Keegan's favorite as well.

Halloween

Our princess! Riley was very excited to be a princess this year for Halloween. About a month or so ago her swim teacher called her Princess Riley and that has stuck with her.

Our astronaut! We went the easy route this year for Keegan.

The kiddos before heading out the door.

Keegan's 1st time Trick-or-Treating and Riley showing him how it's done.

Most of the kids...well, about half.

Just thought this was a cute picture.

All of us!!

Well, Halloween was lots of fun! Riley really enjoy Trick-or-Treating this year. She was very cute, after getting the candy and saying thank you she would run back and jump in the wagon, no lingering. Keegan enjoyed the wagon ride around the neighborhood.

Carving the Pumpkin

We finally carved our pumpkin on Saturday and it was fun. Riley thought it was exciting for the first few minutes, but really was not into getting her hands all dirty and sticky. Although, she did enjoy helping me carve out the eyes and then she had enough of that also. Overall we were pleased with our pumpkin!!

Only one word comes to mind...VOGUE!

Silly Boy

After changing Keegan's diaper the other day I left him with the box of wipes to go get him a new shirt, bad choice :( He decided to pull all the wipes out of the box and just play with the box. This is him after he had been caught.

Now when he sees the camera he just tries to get it.
